Pastels are not just for your Easter Sunday anymore. Robins Egg Blue and lilac have become the new hot colors for Summer. Which is great for me because I look great in Mint Green!

Whenever Lindsay Lohan is in NYLON magazine she looks stunning. I love Lindsay in general but I know a lot of people, well, don't. But not matter what your opinion is on the matter, you can't deny she looks like a fox in all these pictures.

Balenciaga Heart Attack...

When I stepped into Barneys this weekend during my trip to New York I had no intention of falling in love. Until one little Balenciaga baby blue wallet with rose gold hardware caught my eye. I can't stop thinking about the perfect leather and the pink tint of the zipper. If you know me at all, you know that I am a true Balenciaga fan, and I love all of their pieces. But this one really stole my heart.

My Style NYC...

I was in New York for the past couple of days, which explains my lack of posts. I was out there visiting schools, shopping around, and going to dinner. Leighton Meester's dress for the 2011 VMA's was definitely a show stopper. The loose silhouette with the crazy metallic pieces look stunning on her. 

New Girl in Town...

Astrid Berges-Frisbey starred as the mermaid, Syrena, in the Summer Blockbuster- Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. On the red carpet she struts her feminine edge confidently by frequently sporting light colors with out-of-the-box embellishments. Her full lips and green eyes are mesmerizing, no wonder they casted this Spanish chica to play a beautiful mermaid.

This Summer I am channeling my inner Courtney Love. I decide that baby doll and lace dresses will be my go to for warm Summer days in the city. But of course, these dresses can't be your ordinary prim-and-proper pieces. These dresses have to be tattered and worn, these dresses must have a character of their own in order to really find my inner Courtney.
