Colors of Spring

Boutiques and department stores are starting to fill their racks with tanks, sun dresses, and jean shorts. This is when fashion lovers realize that Winter is coming to an end and Spring is just around the corner. I don't know about anyone else, but I could not be more excited to start shopping for my new Spring/Summer wardrobe. In order to get ready for this momentous occasion, I decided to share with all of you some of my favorite colors to wear for the Spring and Summer.

Orchard is bright, mysterious, and a color that is friendly enough for those of us who have a hard time letting go of our all black winter ensembles.

Mint made it's debut last Spring, but it's such a easy and cool shade of blue-green it's no wonder why it's been everyone's favorite color for the past year.

I love wearing Coral, whether it's a coral dress or just as an accessory to brighten my outfit. It's such a relaxed, beachy color that still manages to make a big statement.

My Sister, Lauren, the New Prada "It" Girl

Hello Everyone, It's so good to be blogging again! For my first post back I thought I would share with all of you one of the amazing things that has happened to my family this past year. My older sister, Lauren's boyfriend Gabriel Specter is a street artist who does beautiful, intricate murals around the world. He was hired by Prada to paint portraits of Lauren for their Spring 2014 runway show and her portrait is featured on handbags and dresses, which you can now buy at most Prada stores. Here are some pictures of Gabriel's art at the Prada 2014 show. If you want to see more of Gabe's work you can click here.

Gabe was also so kind to paint a mural of me, which was featured in the February InStyle with Sarah Jessica Parker.
