Paris...
Hey everyone! I'm finally home from Paris, which explains the huge lack of posts. I studied fashion design at Parsons in Paris for the month of July and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I learned so much from my teachers and the other students. During my stay in Paris I saw Barbara Palvin and Magdalena Frackowiak who are two of my favorite models. I got to watch the Tour de France from a balcony of a French apartment and I visited the Hussein Chalayan exhibit. Those were only a few of the amazing things I got to do in Paris. I'm really sorry for not posting! Hope everyone is having a great Summer!

Electric Feel...
At the Paris couture shows this Summer electric, bold colors were blinding. There was not one all black outfit in sight (which is strange for Paris). This amazing use of color and pattern was worn among all that attended the shows; which then resulted in some of Tommy Ton's most memorable street style pictures ever.

Chalayan...
Today my class took a trip to the Decretive Arts museum in Paris to see the Hussein Chalayan exhibit. Chalayan's works of art gave all of us goosebumps as we watched the runway videos and read his ideas behind the collections. My favorite piece in the exhibit was a video from his Spring/Summer 2007 collection. The finale pieces morphed from dresses to skirts, and sun hats to beanies. I highly suggest that everyone goes and sees the exhibit if they can!

Ooh La La...
Hey Everyone! Sorry I haven't been posting lately. I am actually in Paris right now doing the Parsons Intensive Studies program. I've been in Paris for two full days now, and I can happily say that I am loving it. I don't know when I will have time to do a "My Style" or Trend post. But for now, here is some lovely inspiration.
P.S.- I saw two of my favorite models in the time that I've been here. Barbara Palvin and Magdalena Frackowiak!!

Balenciaga Heart Attack...
When I stepped into Barneys this weekend during my trip to New York I had no intention of falling in love. Until one little Balenciaga baby blue wallet with rose gold hardware caught my eye. I can't stop thinking about the perfect leather and the pink tint of the zipper. If you know me at all, you know that I am a true Balenciaga fan, and I love all of their pieces. But this one really stole my heart.
